BIDDING AND AUCTIONS

You can effectively use the Internet to buy or sell products and services. A bid package consists of a summary, documents, drawings and a list of products and services. Selected suppliers receive an email, can view the bid package, enter prices and submit a bid online. The various bids are shown in an itemized table and you can create purchase orders or work orders for one or more suppliers. The module can also be used for online auctions and reverse auctions.

Digital bid package: You can quickly create a detailed list with items, units, quantities and indicative prices based on a catalog. You can attach additional documents and drawings with delivery terms and detailed specifications.

Supplier selection: You can quickly select suppliers that will be invited to submit a bid. Selection can be based on region, qualifications or other user defined criteria. Suppliers receive an email with a link to the bid package.

Online invitation to bid: You can create a standard email mesage to invite suppliers to bid. By using parameters you can include information from the bid package, such as the response date or name of the bid.

Easy to bid: Responding to a bid is made easy via the online bid form. Suppliers can enter prices, download documents or decline to bid. With auctions and reverse auctions suppliers can see the lowest or highest bid so far.

Quick comparison and selection: No more hassle with paper or spreadsheets. Bid responses are displayed per item and supplier so that you can compare prices. You can select items from different suppliers.

One step confirmation: You can automatically turn a bid response into a purchase order or work order to confirm the selected bid. You can optionally order from multiple suppliers based on prices per item.
